Fried Dandelion Root

Wash roots well, scrape off skin with a knife until root is white and wash, then boil for 10 min. cut into small peices and fry in butter, add salt and pepper an serve.

Dandelion coffee
Wash root well scrub until white, and let dry in a window sill or oven on low, when dry roast them over an open fire until a light brown, then grind them up and use as you would coffee.
