Freezing peaches without sugar

by Linda
(Green Valley, AZ)

I make a packing liquid of 1 qt. apple juice, 1 teap. citric acid, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 tbsp. almond extract and 1 cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, simmer 15 minutes, pour over prepared peaches. Delicious and not loaded with sugar!
