Community gardening lasagna style

by Penny
(Havre Montana)

I am the manager of a Food Bank in Havre Montana. Last year I was given a plot in the local community garden. I had heard about lasagna gardening. The weed issue at the garden was terrible so I took it upon myself to try lasagana gardening. It worked out fantastic. We elimated many of the weeds and conserved greatly on water. I recommend lasagna gardening to all gardeners that I encounter. This year we are encouraging all gardeners in the community garden to do the "lasagna". Thanks for the helpful advice.
Keep thinking green!
